truLOCAL Rewards: FAQ
How do I earn truLOCAL Rewards?
You earn truLOCAL rewards points with every subscription box you purchase on truLOCAL.ca. A starter box earns you 60 points, a family-sized box earns you 130 points, and a mega box earns you 175 points upon purchase.
How can I earn bonus rewards points?
In addition to eligible subscription purchases, you can earn points on your birthday, and for other special events throughout the year.
How do I redeem my loyalty rewards?
Easy! Log in through My Account, and click into Manage Rewards on the left-hand side. From there, you can browse rewards options – if you have enough points accumulated and you see something you like, you can click to add directly to your next box.
How many loyalty rewards can I add to my order at once?
Rewards redemptions are limited to one per order.
What’s happening to my accumulated referral credits?
Your existing referral credits have been transferred to truLOCAL rewards points.
What if I have two subscriptions and I want to redeem rewards – can I pick which subscription the reward applies to?
The redeemed reward will apply to the active order that renews first.
What can I redeem my truLOCAL rewards points for?
You can redeem your truLOCAL rewards for free products or a free truLOCAL box! To see the full selection of products login to My Account, click Manage Rewards on the left-hand side and scroll down to see the full selection.
Do my loyalty points expire?
Yes – your loyalty points will expire, if unused, 24 months from the date they are earned.
What if I don’t want to participate?
If you’d prefer not to redeem rewards, that’s no problem!
Are rewards points transferrable?
No. truLOCAL rewards points can only be redeemed on the account that they were earned.
Will you be adding more rewards?
We will occasionally be adding more rewards for you to redeem your points on. Check back often to find the latest!
If I apply a promo code to my order, can I still collect rewards?
Yes. You will earn loyalty rewards on eligible purchases, even when you use a promo code!
If I apply a promo code to my order, can I redeem loyalty points at the same time?
No – rewards can’t be stacked. Your loyalty rewards will remain on your account and can be redeemed on a future order!
I redeemed a reward. When will my points balance update?
Your points balance will update once payment has been processed.
Why can't I redeem my points?
Points cannot be redeemed for loyalty points if your box is processing (has been billed), if you already have a promo code active on your account, or if you do not have enough available truLOCAL rewards points for the reward.
When do I start earning points?
Loyalty points are earned with each subscription purchase made on or after February 1, 2022.
